Overview

We want you to have a great learning experience. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.

Digital courses (self-paced or live-online):

• Cooling-off window: Full refund if you cancel within 7 days of purchase and before attending the second live session or accessing over 20% of the course materials (whichever comes first).
• After the window: Refunds are generally not available once you’ve attended two sessions or accessed over 20% of the content.
• Start date changes: You may request one transfer to a later cohort/date at no charge if requested at least 3 days before your first scheduled session.
• Communications: messages you send us, support requests, reviews, survey responses.

Workshops, events, or one-day sessions:

• Full refund if cancelled 48 hours or more before the event.
• No refund within 48 hours of the event, but you may transfer your seat to another person by emailing admin@ilawashington.com.

Bundles, promos, and discounts:

Refunds are limited to the amount actually paid and exclude expired coupons or bonus items. If a refund is granted for a bundle, any used courses will be deducted at their standalone price.

Books, downloads, and certificates:

Non-refundable once delivered or accessed.

How to request a refund

Email admin@ilawashington.com with: (1) order number, (2) course name, and (3) reason for the request. We’ll confirm eligibility within 5 business days.

Refund method & timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days (processing times may vary by bank). If you paid with Klarna, refunds post to your Klarna account per Klarna’s timelines; you remain responsible for any installments due until Klarna processes the refund.

Cancellations by iLawashington

If we cancel or reschedule a course and you cannot attend, you may choose a full refund or a free transfer to a future date.

Chargebacks

Please contact us first; we can usually resolve issues quickly. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in account restrictions.
